Bedside Commode
A bedside commode is a portable, freestanding toilet for individuals who have difficulty accessing a standard bathroom due to mobility limitations, post-surgical recovery, or nighttime urgency. Sturdy armrests provide stable support during transfers, adjustable leg height accommodates most users, and a removable bucket and splash guard make cleaning quick and hygienic. Compact enough to position right beside the bed, it significantly reduces fall risk during nighttime bathroom trips. Most models fold flat for convenient storage or transport when not in use.
Medicare will cover the cost of a PureWick for eligible female patients.
